I own a Suhr Modern but I'd love to try the Angel.Īnderson offers far more neck shapes than what is offered on the Modern series only their Elliptical shape. I slightly prefer the Angel over the Droptop and much prefer it over the Suhr Modern. Messages: 2, Sweet guitars that just about play themselves. I never had any of those problems with the TA's, and so far I think the Angel is an amazing guitar all around. There was something about the Suhr Moderns I could never gel with, one of them was the ergonomics where my hand rested and where I picked. I would go with the Angel, and the recessed basic floyd thing is viable if it has no locking nut. Which pickups would you recommend? Also, for those that own an Angel and a Suhr Modern in HH configuration, is there more picking room between the humbuckers on the Angel, or are they both the same? I had a Suhr Modern but the way my hand rested brought it to a position where my pick was constantly bumping the neck humbucker. If anyone has both I'd love to hear your opinion. Messages: Hello All, I'm looking to get a new guitar but am torn between the Guardian Angel Player and the drop top classic and whether I should go original trem or recessed basic floyd without the locking nut.
